About the KJV Text Used in This Study Bible
The Scripture text in this interactive Study Bible is derived from the CrossWire Bible Society's King James Version, based substantially on Benjamin Blayney's 1769 Oxford edition of the KJV.
Some historical spellings may differ from those in modern printed KJV Bibles. For example, Cesar may appear in place of Caesar.
The original Strong's Hebrew and Greek associations have been retained for concordance and word-study purposes. The date 1769 refers to the historical KJV edition, not the creation date of this electronic Study Bible.
